The last stick of the last leg of the last game decided the League Title. After hitting the ceiling with his 5th stick Phil Allen bravely composed himself and claimed the doll with his sixth stick and with it the Title.

A determined effort by the North Oxford team resulted in a 6-0 victory over the Punchbowl and a narrowing of the gap at the top to just 1 point. With two games remaining the NOCC face the SexyGirls twice whilst Dave's Diamonds face the Girls and the Kings Arms. With a Six dolls per match handicap advantage The Turtles have amassed an impressive 65 points and guaranteed promotion back to the top division. They will replace the doomed Six Bells who, having contested the top two places for many years, will find themselves in the lower section. The Sexy Girls, who have won the 'Wooden Spoon' trophy, may have a strong say in who wins the Title.

The Diamonds, playing a 'double header', go 5 points clear at the top after drawing with The Bells 3-3 and defeating title challengers North Oxford 4-2. Shirls Girls picked up two points in their 4-2 defeat versus the Turtles, to go with the three they earned in week 12.

The North Oxford Conservatives go back to the top of the league for the first time since Week 3 following a 6-0 victory over The Six Bells. Dave's Diamonds went down 4-2 to The Kings Arms who scored 45 nett for the second time this year. All eyes will be on game 3, week 13, when the Diamonds meet the Conservatives in what could well be a title decider. Watch this space.

Playing a 'double header' Shirl's Girls were looking for their first points since November but went down 6-0 to both The Kings Arms and The Six Bells. The KA scored an impressive 45 dolls (nett) whilst Dave's Diamonds increased their lead over 'title chasers' North Oxford.

Following their week 9 victory over the 'champions elect' the Turtles slumped to a 6-nil defeat to The Punchbowl. The Kings Arms were the only Section 2 team to pick up points after claiming the first leg in the game against The Conservatives.

20 regular league players were attracted to the Yarnton Road Club on Monday to contest the 'Blind Pairs' competition.
In the Semi-Final John Townsend scored two sixes to help him and Daryll Connolly thru to 'Final' places. The other Finalists were Pete Dempsey and Keith Quinnell.
Semi-Final results: P Dempsey and K Quinnell beat R Townsend and N King 2-1. J Townsend and D Connolly beat R Barson and L Hazell 2-0.

Dave's Diamonds suffer their first defeat of the campaign going down 4-2 to the Ninja Turtles. The game produced net scores of 46 and 44 including three sixes. The Six Bells closed the gap on their nearest rivals

In the other matches Shirl's Girls surprised The Punchbowl winning 4-2 and North Oxford CC took four of the six points on offer against The Reptilian Ninja's.

On the first night of the season Premier league contenders 'Dave's Diamonds' laid down the gauntlet with 49 Dolls 16.3 leg/ave following their 4-2 defeat of the Ninja Turtles (formerly Black Prince). Their main challengers and current title holders North Oxford Conservative club ended their double header night with 95 Dolls 15.8 leg/ave following a 3-3 draw versus the Kings Arms and a 4-2 victory over the Punchbowl.
In the other game of the night Shirl's Girls beat the Six Bells 4-2
